Box of Books!

Angel'sDen2I’m excited to announce that I received my box of Angel’s Den books!! In celebration I would like to give away three copies. Just comment (with your email address included) about why you love to read historical romance and you will be entered in the drawing. At the end of the week, I will draw three names and announce the winners.

Here is the back of the book blurb:

“Not everyone who looks like an angel . . . is one.”

Emma Daring can’t believe Eric Montclaire loves her. Not only is he a successful businessman, he’s known far and wide as the “most handsome man west of the Appalachians.” But her husband’s angelic looks mask a self-serving, monstrous soul—one that warps Emma’s dream life into a horrifying nightmare. Her only hope? Her husband’s upcoming expedition to the west. Not even Eric would take a woman on such an arduous journey.

Cartographer Luke Bowen is delighted when Eric Montclaire hires him for an expedition. And not just any expedition. They’re to follow the trail Lewis and Clark blazed a few years earlier to the Pacific Ocean. But something’s not right. Why has Montclaire insisted his wife accompany them? And why does Emma Montclaire seem so…haunted?

When the dark truth comes to light, it’s too late for Luke or Emma to escape what has become a twisted path of lies, theft, and murder. Only God can show them the way out…”

Good Luck and God Bless!

I just love how you can get away from the world of high-tech and enjoy the life of characters that experience life in a more real way with no air condition, heaters, cars, and facebook. I love how an author can transport you to inside the book and experience what the characters are experiencing. I hope I’m able to win Angel’s Den because I know it is going to be good. If I don’t win it I know I will buy it!! Thanks for this oppurtunity!

I love historical and contemporary romance fiction, especially with a christian theme that uplifts me. I would love to win a free copy of your next book.

  4. Molly Daniels01-14-10

I LOVE stories about Oregon Trail! And as I’ve already talked to you about the other theme of this book, I’m looking forward to reading it:)

  5. Lynnet01-14-10

i love reading historical fiction because it makes history come to life. I love how historical events are woven into the book – making history come to life and more real to readers. I really love how Christian authors portray the characters handling events that may or may not go against God’s word. Thank you for writing quality Christian fiction that pulls the reader into the story and allows us to experience life in a time that has affected our past and history!

Why I like Historical Romances….There are just so many reasons. The first one is that when I find an author whose writing I really like, the sense of anticipation makes me want to go to bed and just read. And read. And read. The reason I like the historical romances is because they take me to a world that I can only imagine and to a lifestyle that only comes alive when I read about it in a well written book.
Being a Christian and reading a book based on Christian principals is such a bonus.
I’m sure this book will be a big hit, as any of your other books that I’ve read have been so good. Good luck and God Bless!

Historical romances provide me with a pleasant escape from my life and from the current era — without sacrificing the conveniences of today that I love.

I’ve been reading old West Historical Romance Christian fiction for 16 years, since I was a sophomore in high school. I love being able to escape into a simpler life and different lifestyle. I love books with happy endings, but not always the same “boy meets girl and falls in love”. I occasionally read contemporary Christian fiction, but am always drawn back to historical Christian romance, and must have a few on my shelves!
Angel’s Den sounds like a great book! Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks:)

I prefer reading historical books to any other. You learn so much from them and it’s about a whole different and fascinating way of life. Please enter me in the drawing.

  16. Beth01-16-10

I love historical romances because I am facinated with the past, and I love romance. I sometimes wonder what it would be like if I lived in those times, what I would do, where I would be, who would be my suitor.
Thanks for writing these books, Jamie. I look forward to reading this one.
