Countdown to St. Patrick’s Day!

While writing The Guardian Duke I did a fair amount of research on Ireland and the castles of Ireland. Needless to say, I fell in love with The Land of Ever Young, made some new Irish friends and learned a great deal about the famed rolling hills of green. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day coming up this Saturday, I want to have an all things Irish week here on my blog and on my Forgotten Castles Facebook page! There will be interviews with the real owners of Killyleagh Castle (the castle my heroine, Alexandria Featherstone, visits for clues about her missing parents) fun videos, Irish music and two big giveaways! Here’s the way the giveaways work:

Here on my blog:

Just stop by during the week and comment on any of the posts (one comment/entry per person, please) today, Monday 3/12/2012 through Friday 3/16/2012 for a chance to win. I am excited to give away this beautiful music box, the new Celtic Woman CD Believe and a signed copy of The Guardian Duke!

You can hear samples of the songs here.

Our Irish heritage really shows up in my son and grandson 🙂 They are both flaming redheads!

Anne! I want pics! My first born is an aubrun head, red when he was younger. Does anyone remember Baby Magic in the pink bottle?? I used to plaster him in it and his hair almost crackled with red curls on top his head – lol! (looking for those pics now)
Oh, I need/want! to comment on so many comments! It’s been a crazy week. Hopefully tomorrow!

Love those redheads! I have one here, too. My favorite book was always Anne of Green Gables, too. I love the Irish lullaby. My mom used to sing me to sleep to this when I was a baby.

  7. Kristina03-15-12

    What a fun idea!

  8. Netsie Cunningham03-16-12

I love reading books on Ireland! But I must say, I think the item I want the most is the Celtic Woman CD, winning over the book by a hair. 😉
