So, I have to turn in the manuscript for my second book, The Forgiven Duke, in my Forgotten Castles series on Tuesday and I’m working every moment I can to polish this baby up! This book is set in Iceland, which was amazing to research and learn all about, and England. Toward the end of the story, Alexandria Featherstone, my heroine, goes to London and is presented to the Prince Regent, George IV. I noticed that I didn’t do a very good job describing her dress so I decided to do a bit of research. Here are some court dresses I found for what dearest Alex might wear when presented to the Regent. I adore the feather hats! Do you have a favorite? #7 is my favorite, then 3, then 5. Can’t wait to read your amazing description of whichever is chosen!
I like #1 and #6 the best!
I am so glad that fashions have changed slightly (lol) so that we don’t have to wear clothes like that every day!
Can’t wait to read the book!
I like #1 & #5 best.
I’m casting my vote for #2; it looks fancier.
I like #3–nothing quite like it–exquisite and simpler at the same time!
