Reviews:

In the Shadow of Evil is a riveting romantic suspense from Robin Caroll! She’s one of my favorite authors and a terrific storyteller. I’m first in line to get each new release. Don’t miss this one!~Colleen Coble, author of The Lightkeeper’s Ball and the Lonestar series

Robin Caroll is a firstrate writer of romantic suspense, and In the Shadow of Evil showcases her talents.  —Josh Skaggs (CBA Retailers & Resources)

Romantic Suspense lovers, don’t miss this one!~Terri Blackstock

I asked Robin what she is most excited about with this book: “What I’m most excited about with this book is I wanted to show deep relationship dynamics of adult children and their parents…with misunderstandings and implied hurts. I  hope that readers will gain insight in that sometimes, things are not always what they seem, but God is always good and always with us.”

The theme of rebuilding after tragedy brings to mind the horrors of what is happening in Japan right now. To enter to win Robin’s book let’s just say a little prayer (or a long one!:) for Japan. I’ll start. Lord God, I lift up the many hurting people in Japan and ask that You would bring Your presence into each and every tragedy. Show them Your love through provisions of food, shelter, medical care, whatever they need, Lord. Fill their hearts with healing and Your love and peace. I pray for miracles to happen all over the place and that in the way only You can do, good will come from this tragedy. In Jesus name. Amen!

(Please include a way to reach you should you win. I’ve been having trouble reaching some of my winners. Thanks!)

Thank you for the chance to win this book by praying for Japan! Such a great idea! Prayer is so powerful and the more of us that join together to pray the better. Lord, I pray for those relief efforts in Japan, I pray your hand be on all the searches, doctors, and volunteers. I pray you give them the strength to endure the tough conditions and I pray you give them the ears to hear any survivors calling. Give them strength Lord, give strength to the injured that are hanging on! I pray for miracles there Lord and that your glory will shine!

Lord, please be with the people in Japan. They have lost everything, including many lives. Please enable the experts to get the nuclear plants to cool down and not put forth anymore radiation. Be with the all of the missionaries that are in Japan. Work on the hearts of the Japanese people. Let them be more receptive to accepting You as their Savior. Be with all of the relief efforts. Help them to get to everyone in need. I ask these things Jesus holy and wonderful and mighty name, amen.

Lord, please move in a mighty way in Japan right now – to fix the damage in the nuclear facilities and to fix the infrastructure so that it can support relief efforts with food, housing, and water. Show that in the midst of horrific life circumstances, your mercy and love is a beacon of hope and assurance. Amen.

Jehovah, God, You who see. Reveal Yourself to the people of Japan. Comfort and strengthen them, help families find each other. Protect them from the dangers on every side. May they see the True Light and experience your mercy. Snuff out the nuclear fires, cool the reactors. Amen
