Definitely looking forward to reading the book someday, sooner rather than later if I am the lucky winner of a signed copy…but regardless I like the idea of the book and will definitely check if out eventually…Mikalatos is a very funny guy in person, so i’m excited to see the humor transfer into his writing.
My imaginary Jesus has been a vending machine. Even in freshman year of high school I remember asking him for a date to the homecoming dance. It didn’t happen. I ask him to help every little situation to work out in my favor and convenience. But, of course, that’s not who Jesus wants to be in my life. He wants to be Lord.
I keep hearing about this book and it looks fantastic! Matt spoke at a conference I went to last fall and so I’ve had a picture of the cover on my bulletin board for the past 5 months staring at me, wanting me to read it.

my kind of book – I like books like this, for there is far too many unbiblical ideas of who Jesus is.
Read the first chapter online which was… intriguing. It did make me want to see where it would go from there though.
